Reiki is the ancient art of "laying on of hands" in order to heal. It is the use of touch to convey warmth, serenity, love, caring and healing, through the channelling of energy to enhance a person’s own life force-.
Reiki’s meaning is broken down to Rei- and Ki.
Rei- : is spiritual power, universal transcendental spirit.
Ki : is the essence of vital life force energy.
Ki exists in everything. It is a subtle energy that flows within and surrounds all life. It is an essential energy for everything that exists in the physical and spiritual worlds.
There are a range of different vibrations within the human aura and chakras. These vibrations of Ki help to sustain the physical body, our thoughts and feelings as well as our spiritual experiences.
When Ki is out of balance, pockets of negative energy form around the physical body, and within the subtle energies of the aura and chakras.
This heavy negative energy cannot flow freely and becomes sluggish and stagnant resulting in dysfunction and illness in the body. It is only by removing this negative energy that healthy Ki is free to flow again and heal the body.
Reiki healers channel the positive Ki to the area of the body, chakra or aura where negative energy is harboured, allowing it to be released from the person’s energy field and replaced by healthy Ki, resulting in the natural flow of positive Ki. In short, Reiki healers channel through pure Universal Love.
Reiki practitioners need to be totally non-judgemental and their responsibility is to make the person receiving the healing feel totally safe.
Reiki is not a replacement of modern medicine. It assists the receiver in going through the processes of healing and self-empowerment by allowing them to take responsibility for their own health and happiness.
It complements all other therapies, whether allopathic or alternative by allowing the path of healing (physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual) to take place.
Ultimately this allows us all to become aware of our unlimited potential regarding our lives and relationships with others and the universe. community

The clear quartz crystal is one of the most sacred stones of ancient cultures. Its clarity and transparency give it a mirror quality through which things can be seen clearly. The natural quartz crystal symbolizes white light energy.
The power of the crystal can be found in its structure - growing and reaching up toward light from the deepest parts of earth. It is a conductor of energy - both as a receiver and a transmitter. It is important to keep your crystal clean in order to protect it from outside negative vibrations. Your personal crystals will attune themselves to your vibrations, as you will attune to the natural vibrations of the crystal. Choose crystals that seem to speak to you or that you feel attracted to for best results.
Clear quartz crystals have been used for centuries in healing. Egyptians used them in pyramids to attract the power contained in light. Their triangular shapes held mystical appeal. American Indians have long revered the crystal as a sacred symbol of light. Crystals have been used to cut a newborn's cord, and are often buried with the dead in addition to use in many ceremonies and rituals. In the Tibetan culture, crystals are considered sacred objects that are empowered with the elements. Many cultures carry them in pouches for protection from negativity.
Crystals have been used for healing the body, transforming the spirit, inspiring intuitive insight, guarding against negative vibrations, and smoothing the energy flows of spirit and body
What is Numerology?
Numerology is the universal language of numbers. By breaking down the patterns of the universe into numbers, we are able to uncover information about the world as a whole, as well as every individual.
What kind of answers can Numerology give me?
Numerology is a self-help tool that can reveal much about your personal character and your life as a whole. In many ways, Numerology can both predict and not predict your future. While your Numerology cycles indicate the opportunities and challenges, joys and pains that will arise throughout different periods of your life, the way you choose to handle these occurrences at any given moment is still up to you.
So is Numerology all about math?
Numerology is the science of numbers, but it only involves simple mathematics. It's more about the personalities of each number, and how each numbers traits alter the flavor of your life depending on where they appear in your personal Numerology -- if they appear at all.
Is Numerology based solely on my date of birth?
Your personal Numerology chart is primarily based on two things: your date of birth and the name you were given at birth, but also takes into account the name you use today. Some numbers and cycles in your Numerology chart are derived from your birth date while others come from the letters of your birth name. According to Numerology, the name you were first given is the perfect name for you -- the name you were truly meant to have.
What does my name have to do with Numerology?
Much of your Numerology is based on your name -- your birth name plays a key role in your personal Numerology chart, but the name you use today affects the persona you're giving off to the world. Should you change your name after marriage or divorce? Is the spelling of your name affecting your fortune in life? Numerology holds the answers.
What's my Life Path number?
Your Life Path number is the most important number in your entire Numerology chart! Based on your unique birth date, your Life Path number will be with you throughout your whole life.
What's the difference between a Life Path, Expression, Heart's Desire number, etc.?
Your personal Numerology chart is full of numbers that influence all the facets of your personality and phases of your life. While your Life Path, Expression, Heart's Desire and other numbers combine to make up the complete picture of you, each individual number represents a different, specific part of you and your life.
Can Numerology determine romantic compatibility?
It can! Your personal Life Path number reveals the style of your life, thoughts, communication patterns and more. When comparing and contrasting the styles of each Life Path number, some numbers work together quite well -- while others should be avoided.
What does it mean when I see the same number everywhere I look?
Numbers that recur and repeat in life are Numerology's way of directing you toward information you may be missing or lessons you've yet to learn.
What's in store for me?
The numbers at play during any Universal or Personal cycle can suggest what may be in store for you and the rest of the world during any given month, year or phase of your life.
Astrology is the study of the influence that distant cosmic objects, usually stars and planets, have on human lives. The position of the sun, stars, moon and planets at the time of people's birth (not their conception) is said to shape their personality, affect their romantic relationships and predict their economic fortunes, among other divinations.
What most people know about astrology is their "sign," which refers to one of the 12 constellations of the zodiac. This is a form of sun-sign astrology, which is the astrology upon which newspaper horoscopes are based. It is probably the simplest form, because nothing more than the date of someone's birthday is needed to generate a sun-sign horoscope. Many astrologers will tell you that this form of astrology is so simplistic that it produces very limited results.
To produce a more accurate reading, astrologers check to see what sign each planet was in at the time of birth. The planets and signs combine with other elements, such as houses and angles, to form a complex and often very specific profile of a subject's personality, life and future prospects.
There is no single unified theory or practice of astrology. Ancient cultures all practiced their own forms, some of which combined and evolved into today's common western astrology. Eastern cultures continue to practice their own forms of astrology: Chinese, Vedic and Tibetan astrology are among the most well-known.
What is lal Kitab
Lal Kitab is a remarkable branch of Vedic astrology. Collection of the 5 books, written during the period of 1939-1952 is called Lal Kitab. Written in ancient Urdu language, first time in the history of astrology, Lal Kitab introduced a new style of horoscope analysis with quick and affordable remedies (Lal Kitab Upay in Hindi). Authorship of the books seems to be disputed. However, finding by our research community shows that the books were written by Pt. Roop Chand Joshi.
Surprisingly to apprise that Lal Kitab throws sufficient light over vivid dimensions of human life which were never discussed in classical astrology. Much younger than its classical counterpart, it covers the modern lifestyle and day to day events which were hard to find in classical astrology. It is important to note that palmistry, Vastu & phrenology are also part and parcel of the Lal Kitab. Wide coverage of topics put Lal Kitab in the class of ancient Hindu Samhitas like Brihat Samhita and Narad Samhita.
Lal Kitab remedies/ Upay are affordable, easy and provide quick results. The effect of remedies is unbelievable. It is said that these remedies/ upay are especially suitable for quick results in Kaliyuga as the traditional methods viz. mantra, yagna, japa, havana etc. have become very difficult in this period. The remedies/ upay are as easy in throwing something in running water or establishing something in home. However, beware that Lal Kitab remedies/ upay can also backfire, if not properly studied and performed. That is why one should be very cautious as and when you take shelter of Lal Kitab consultancy. It is advisable to stop performing remedies/ upay immediately if you observer any negative side effects.
As a matter of fact, it is very difficult and cumbersome to understand Lal Kitab due to its mysterious and talismatic language used by the author. Rationale behind the farmaans, the couplets of the Lal Kitab, and remedies/ upay thereof are also difficult to understand. However, years together involvement and encounter with this book, we are of the opinion that number of the astrologers who are having good command and sound knowledge in this field is negligible. Due to unavailability of authentic knowledge, people are being misguided by the crooks who want to take advantage of the prevailing confusing environment.
Last but not the least, Lal Kitab still not has been decoded in every sphere. There are so many topics and areas in Lal Kitab which are still undiscovered and lying in darkness. A research is being conduced by our institution to decode Lal Kitab as to provide its maximum benefit to the mankind. Kindly check the book resources section for more details, if you wish to learn it. If you are interested in getting help from our Lal Kitab expert panel, please go though the Lal Kitab consultancy section.

Here are some major differences to Vedic astrology:
The history of Vastu
The Indian civilization is the oldest in the world and has a rich heritage of developing different branches of science. Vastu Shastra is one such discipline that developed over the years based on the traditional knowledge gained from studying the nature. The age old Indian philosophers knew a lot about the five elements that made the universe.
They also had knowledge about the gravitational field, magnetic field, the position of the earth, velocity of the winds, ultraviolet rays, the intensity and volume of rainfall etc. Application of this knowledge certainly made sure that the construction of the house was scientific and spiritual at the same time. This is knowledge that people have garnered through years and years of study and test as well.
The five elements of Vastu Shastra
There are five elements that are really important in Vastu Shastra. These are-
According to the traditional knowledge, the entire universe around us is made up of these five basic elements. In fact, the five elements of the nature have to be coordinated with the five elements of the human body as well. This coordination is critical as this is what makes human relationship harmonious. Knowledge of the elements can really make it beneficial for people to know more about Vastu Shastra and also help them realize the reason why they have to make certain changes in the house or put certain things in certain places.
The elements can determine the way particular directions interact with particular objects or certain kinds of people. It would be bad for a fire sign to set up an office in the corner that represents the water corner. These little details of Vastu is not just based on the directions and the elements of the nature, but a little on the personality of the dweller, or at least the element that the person was born into. Read more on the Importance and Benefits of Vastu Shastra.
Directions in Vastu Shastra
Other than the elements, the directions in Vastu Shastra are the most important factor of this ancient practice. When constructing a house, making sure that everything is in the right corner is of utmost importance and this is why it is necessary for people to know all about this. Here are the eight directions in Vastu Shastra and their specific characteristics:
1. East: East stands for sunrise, or new beginnings. It is very advantageous for people who are trying to end something bad and getting started with something new. It is the direction of prosperity. Here are the things in the house that can be in the eastern part of the house or face the eastern direction:
2. West: West, is probably the most pitiable direction. Out of all the Vastu directions, this is the one that has more instructions for 'don'ts' than 'dos'. People who live in the western part of the house or have entrances opening to the west direction do not lead a happy life or a prosperous one. The western direction is the direction for women; however, even then the success of the woman will not be complete or really big. The west is the direction where the sun sets, which means that this direction is not really good for beginnings. There are the things that one needs to be aware of about the western direction:
3. North: North is the direction that is best for the business people who are interested in applying some Vastu in their lives. The planet that rules over this direction is mercury, which makes it really beneficial for people to have offices in this direction. In fact, it has been found that the UV rays cast by the sun have the least negative effect in the northern parts, so having any open space in the northern area would be a good move. The north is really auspicious and the following steps have to be taken care of when one is trying to take advantage of Vastu for better life.
4. South: The south is quite a contradictory direction. There is some fear among those who follow Vastu Shastra about this direction. This is because of the fact that there are mixed feelings about whether this direction works for people or not. Say, if one builds a house with a south facing entrance, they might be successful for the first few years, but after that the money will begin to stagnate and eventually start decreasing. Hence, it is better to use the south direction in cycles, so as to keep all the bad luck far away.
5. North-East: North-east is the direction of god. It is the most auspicious one and it is known to promote positive aspects in men and women. When taking care of the northern corner or side of the structure, remember the following details to take advantage of Vastu:
6. North-West: The north-west is the direction that handles interpersonal relationships. The kind of relationships people have with the other members of the family certainly depends on the same. Here are a few things that you would certainly have to keep in mind:
7. South-East: South-east is the direction of the logical and reasoning person. Here are some of the important things you need to know about this direction:
8. South-West: This is the direction of the demons, the opposite of north-east. As a result of this, it can command the business field and the decisions made in that field. Here are some important things for you to keep in mind:
Tarot cards are one of many forms of divination. They are commonly used to measure potential outcomes and evaluate influences surrounding a person, an event, or both. The technical term for tarot reading is taromancy (divination through the use of tarot cards), which is a subsection of cartomancy (divination through cards in general).
"PREDICTING THE FUTURE" THROUGH TAROT
Tarot readers commonly believe that the future is fluid and thus absolute predictions of future events are impossible.
Instead, they focus on possible outcomes as well as examining influences related to the issue at hand. These may be influences which the subject might not even be aware of before the reading.
Tarot reading thus arms the subject with additional information so that they may make more informed choices. It is another avenue of research, so to speak, and should not be seen as coming with any guarantee of ultimate outcomes.
A spread is the arrangement of cards dealt in a reading. Each position in a spread is associated with a different aspect of the question posed. The two most common are probably the Three Fates and the Celtic Cross, but there are many others.
The Three Fates consists of three cards. The first represents the past, the second represents the present, and the third represents the future.
The Celtic Cross consists of ten cards representing a variety of things including any past and future influences, personal hopes, and conflicting influences.
MAJOR AND MINOR ARCANA
Standard tarot decks have two types of cards: Major and Minor Arcana.
The Minor Arcana are similar to a deck of regular playing cards. They are divided into four suits, with each suit having one card for 1 through 10. It also includes face cards referred to as the page, knight, queen, and king.
The Major Arcana are stand-alone cards with their own unique meanings. These include cards like the Devil, Strength, Temperance, the Hanged Man, the Fool, and Death.
SOURCES OF KNOWLEDGE
Different readers have different ideas of where their talent comes from. For many psychics and magical practitioners, the power is inherent within the reader to tap into universal understandings. The cards are simply a medium to help trigger that personal talent. Others may speak of tapping into a "universal mind" or "universal consciousness." Still others credit the influence of gods or other supernatural beings to place the cards in a meaningful order.
Some readers refrain from explanations altogether, acknowledging that they do not understand the specifics of how it works yet recognizing that it does, in fact, work. Such a mindset might be comparable to all of us who use cars on a regular basis even though most of us have very little idea of how a car actually works.
POWER OF THE CARDS
Few readers would suggest that anyone could just pick up a deck of tarot cards and produce a meaningful reading. Often, the cards are viewed as having no power at all and are simply a helpful visual cue to aid the reader.
Others believe there is some power in the cards that accentuates the reader's own talents, which is why they'll only work from their own decks.
Just as radios pick up information from unseen radio waves, the pendulum is a powerful antenna that receives information from the vibrations and energy waves emitted by people, places, thoughts and things.
Noted physicist, Albert Einstein, was known to perform impressive feats with such dowsing tools. He believed that it had to do with electromagnetism: just as birds migrate following the earth's magnetic field, dowsers react to energies that are unseen and still not fully understood.
Some people say that the pendulum creates a bridge between the logical and intuitive parts of the mind. Some say that the pendulum connects them with a higher power and call it "divining" as the information is believed to come from a divine source. Research by many scientists indicates that the pendulum responds to electromagnetic energy that radiates from everything on Earth.
No one knows for sure how the pendulum works, but the important thing is that it does work! As Thomas Edison is said to have replied when asked about electricity: "I don't know what it is, but it's there, let's use it."
Other famous dowsing advocates in history include Leonardo De Vinci (inventor), Robert Boyle (father of modern chemistry), Charles Richet (nobel prize winner), and General Patton (U.S. Army).
Another way of looking at it is realizing that a TV antenna can pick up invisible rays and translate them into pictures, so perhaps the inherent electrical current of the brain can also act as a receiver for which the pendulum serves as a transmitter.
But regardless, even if you do not understand how the pendulum works, just as most people don't know the inner workings of a television or telephone, you can still benefit from its use. You do not have to be psychic to use a pendulum; there is nothing magical or mystical despite the fact that friends and family are always amazed at its uncanny accuracy.
How you believe it works may be secondary to the fact that it actually does work - and you can experience it for yourself.
